Have you all taken advantage of this promotion? If not I HIGHLY encourage you to go hit HT. They are doubling ALL coupons up to $1.98 face value.

So all those $1 off coupons manufacturers release...double to $2. Combine that with some sales and you get some truly insane prices. There are cult followers of this semi-annual sale that actually compile free items.

Couple examples of deals I got the other day:

8pack of Lance crackers - $2 - $1couponx2 = free
Franks red hot sauce - $1.25 - .50couponx2 = .25
Organic valley cream cheese - $2.69 - $1couponx2 = .69
Bagel bites 9ct - $2.79 - $1couponx2 = .79

The only catch is you can only use 20 coupons per visit. You can go online to places like redplum.com or smartsource.com which have coupons, or also check sites like fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net to get other coupons. All free. Here are a couple blogs that outline the deals they got:

Harris Teeter Super Doubles

Some of the links to the coupons may be outdated but typically the links to manufacturers sites work. Dont see your fave product? Go to its site and chances are it has a coupon up there.

Enjoy!!!

We save $30-$40 every week at Harris Teeter using coupons. We're not aggressive about it - just clip the ones from the Sunday paper for products we use. Not only does it save us money on our groceries, it pays for the cost of the newspaper. It's easy, painless, and saves money. Why not use coupons?

I'm going to try to hit it up today, but I'm doubtful there is anything left!

I wish someone had posted about this BEFORE the last day! I never seem to know when H-T is doubling coupons. FYI Lowes doubles coupons (but only up to 75 cents) all the time, so I usually buy coupon items there (though little else since I generally don't like Lowes).

We got into the habit last year when I was unemployed. We've saved $120 in the last 2 weeks just by buying HT specials and using coupons.

If you sign up for HT's eVIC email, you will know every week. They double coupons up to .99 value every week, but sometimes they offer double coupons up to 1.98, and they also do triple coupons up to .99

Yeah, HT ALWAYS doubles coupons up to $.99 cents. If sign up for their Evic thing online, they will let you know when they are having a coupon special, where they double up to $1.98 and even triple up to $.99.
Just remember that they double up to $.99 everyday though!
