Does anyone know of a store where I could buy wedding cake pulls in the Triangle?
Thanks!

Wow, does this take me back! When I was married 25 years ago, I asked my cake baker in Virginia to use pulls. She had never heard of them! So I went to Gambino's Bakery (I was living in New Orleans at the time) and bought some and sent them to her in Virginia. You can still buy them at Gambino's and several other places online, but I don't know if it is a tradition here in NC.

Thanks. My fiance grew up in New Orleans. We are too late to order any, but I appreciate the advice anyway!

Leave it to Michael's to have everything! So glad your fiance can bring this NOLA tradition to your wedding. All the best to you both!

Turns out it was actually some cheap charm bracelet pieces that she just put some ribbon on. They had all the ones she wanted except for the ring, but my mother had a cheapo ring that worked perfectly for that.

That's great! Hope none of the bridesmaids drew the button or thimble!
