Hey musicians, where do you go when you need to pop in someplace for a 1/4" or XLR connector or a hunk of cable?

Durham would be best for me....

I know you're looking for a local source, and I'm afraid I can't help you there, but if you have time to order on-line, I like www.markertek.com

I like the Canare G-6 cable and Canare connectors, even if they're a bit more expensive than others. I like their internal strain relief better than Neutrik, and the 1/4" connectors also have an external spring-type strain relief.

Also, although I'd recommend a twin-lead cable for amp-to-speaker connections, Canare does spec the G-6 coax cable as being suitable for amp-to-speaker use.

I'd probably check guitar center first.

Please don't support guitar center. I'm strictly acoustic, but I'd suggest trying Bluesmaster near South Square

Monoprice.com is my go-to cabling supplier.

Monoprice is great. If you are in a hurry, NewEgg is one of the stores participating in shoprunner, which offers free two-day shipping. You can join for free if you have an AmEx card.

Thanks for the leads, but Durhamwise, this is not encouraging.

I have an order for 20 pieces coming in from Mouser but I forgot the two 1/4" TRS Males that I need...

Would you like to buy some of my Marshall (Mogami) Sound Runner 14ga w1/4" plugs?

Thanks for the offer, but I'm OK for speaker cables.
