We are considering Woodlands @ GLC for our next house and would like to know if anyone can share their home building experiences at this sub-division? Also, we are looking for a basement option. Any suggestions on other sub-divisions nearby that offer a decent quality home in the 650K price range?

We currently live in a custom built home in CV and love it. Cameron Pond would have been our choice had 540 been not so close to it. We have heard good reports about Weycroft but not sure if they offer any basement lots.

It would be hard to find a Basement home under $650 in the Woodlands section of Green Level Crossing (possible in Manors)
You have to take into account the interior options need to be upgraded by atleast an additional 10% or more.

Southbridge has a few homes with partially finished basements in that price range and lot of resales in other neighborhoods.

Hello Firebird27,
Saw your post and a friend of mine purchased at The Woodlands and has a home under construction and so far the experience has been good. Their home will have a basement. They told me they purcashed there because of the location and also because of the room sizes and open plan which they like. They only looked at new homes and thought that there were a lot of good standard items.

The manors has reasonable prices, are willing to be flexible with floor plans/upgrades and have some good deals if you ask. If you want more information please e-mail me. I am in the process of having a home built there.
