I am attending a wedding for a coworker tomorrow and have been at a loss as to what to get for the gift. I want to get something however all my ideas are too expensive.
I would like to stay around $20 but what I am coming up with is cheesy.
Just looking for some more ideas in that price range.
I think $20 is a bit cheap for a wedding gift. I mean, we're not talking secret santa here, are we? Then again, I don't know if there are rules where you work (where I work, any gift to a superior must be $20 or less), so you might be in that boat, too. Although, I believe there are exceptions for special occasions (such as weddings).
I would suggest at least a $50 gift card, if you can't find something on their registry to get them.
nogard13-Thank you, I know $20 is a bit cheap. That is what I can afford for this. If it were a family member or a close friend I would get something more extravagent. But that is not the case. I am not trying to impress. Just want some ideas. You got any in the $20 range. Your idea is in the $50 range.
(take this with a sarcastic tone ofcourse)

Reason: Had to label sarcasm.

I stand by my idea of the coasters with INITIALS from BB& Beyond. They are personalized and something everyone can really use and don't look cheap at all. And...you should be able to grab a 20% off coupon from someone!
At my office, we have so many getting married and having babies and it isn't always easy to spend $50 on each and every one!

Wow, that's pretty rude. Not everyone is in the same economic situation as you. Your suggestion of a gift more than twice the stated amount was unhelpful.
OP, you might also consider a set of 2 monogrammed guest hand towels.
Thanks guys, I will go with the monogrammed towel, coaster set, or something I thought of just now: a nice picture frame that I will just write "insert the wedding love here". All are acceptable to me.
Thanks, guys, and gurls.
