Anyone have info on this? They are making cosmetic changes to the exterior or the buildings and so far it looks like something out of 1972. And I don't mean that in a nice way.

I was really looking forward to the rumored North Hills style development that was supposed to go there. It looks like that's never going to happen.

I guess the best we can hope for is a few interesting tenants.

There is a facebook and twitter page for the "new" Waverly place

So far they say the promenade will be finished at the end of may.
They will have live entertainment this summer possibly a farmers market.

New tenants include a pizza place and nail spa...hoping for something more exciting

And I found out today that the whole foods will be expanding by taking over the Rite Aid and the dry cleaners locations....best news yet.

Thanks for the update - glad to know WF is expanding, I suppose Rite Aid and the Cleaners may relocate? If they've stuck it out this long!!??

Also looking forward to the entertainment...North Hills was nice for a while, but now it's too crowded for the trip (and perhaps a bit too upscale for my tastes, anyway!).
