I have a last minute order for Friday from a client for cupcakes that require a dark brown or brown cupcake liner, which I currently do not have on hand. I don't have time to order them online and have checked with A Southern Season and Michaels, both of which do not have them.

I know about the NC Paper Company in Clayton, but don't know if they carry them and even if they did it would be a little over 2 hours round trip for me, which just isn't possible on such short notice.

As a last resort I thought I would check with you guys to see if any of you bakers know of anyplace I could get some brown cupcake liners within a reasonable distance of Pittsboro?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have white ones? Could you die them in tea or food coloring?
Or wrap them in a black napkin post-baking?

I get the natural-colored ones at Earth Fare. They're the color of paper grocery bags.

Did you try Kitchenworks in University Mall in Chapel Hill? A Southern Season doesn't have much of a stock of cupcake liners, but Kitchenworks does and I always make a special stop there when I'm in the area.
