Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a competitive men's basketball league in the triangle area? I just moved here from up north and want to get back into shape. I played college ball so I am looking for a league that's pretty competitive. Any help is greatly appreciated. I saw something about the Chavis league...any idea on how to join a team?

You might want to contact Raleigh Parks and Recreation. Their website:
City of Raleigh | Parks and Recreation

They offer different adult leagues with varying skill levels. They may be able to suggest other leagues to consider.

The Chavis league is pretty select and has a lot of skilled players. It used to be better, but the NCAA has gotten so touchy about active collegiate players being involved in rec leagues that most local universities have prohibited their players from competing.
