What is the deal with all the bananas being gone?
Was I supposed to buy a truck load of bananas?

missing bananas was a mystery to me too. I needed eggs today and was very surprised to see almost all the bananas at Teeter gone. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches with a glass of milk when the power goes out?

I found a sled at Ace Hardware (in Chapel Hill) yesterday - there were still a half-dozen left!

It's because it's the first thing they see when they enter the store. Ever see supermarket sweep? Fill the carts with turkeys!!

Ace in Cary was out today, but Smith Hardware (Westover) by the fairgrounds had a TON.

ETA: Sleds...not bananas!

Frozen bananas Mike! Stick 'em in the snow, wait till they freeze and dip 'em in chocolate!

I bought bananas and I don't even know why - I don't usually buy them! And, there was a whole crowd around them. How odd!

LOL! Did you let out a little "bleat" when you got the bananas?

Did you guys see the huge ring around the moon tonight? Just one star inside the ring? I think this might be the real thing. I'm not even sure I want the snow, but I'm still feeling a little excited about the prospect. I think the ring around the moon clinched it for me.

I'll take a couple of inches of snow, hold the ice. It would be nice to at least be able to get out of the driveway come Sunday...
