Hehe! Yes I get it. I'm totally in a good mood I think I was more excited when we got snow last year though since it was my first NC snow.

Just got word that our concert in VA was canceled due to the weather! So, we will soon hunker down and enjoy the snowy weekend! Yay!

My elderly neighbor just asked me to go see Mamma Mia with her at DPAC on Sunday and I said no. Be honest, am I a total jerk for that? She's very lonely. But 1) I am not planning on driving on Sunday unless it's an emergency and 2) I despise ABBA and I never want to go see that anyway. I could be talked into it if not for the storm.

(I promise I will check on her and help her out all weekend...but she seems to not believe that the roads will be bad. They will be in my complex for sure)

I'd enjoy just enough snow to make everything white, and pretty, but I am certainly not looking forward to up to 12" of the stuff. Nor would I want to see i-c-e. The light dusting back on December 18 was nice, but this sounds like a whole lot more than that. Last year's 7" was manageable, I thought.

I've salted the sidewalks -- well, Mr. Rdslots did -- and made a big pot of chili for tomorrow. The house is clean, the laundry's done, clean sheets on the bed, and plenty of good reading material.

Ah, but life could be good. Just NO ice, s'il-vous-plait.

That was the best. Used to have that in Vermont as a kid...I should have bought some maple syrup!

Been snowing in Durham for at least 20 minutes. It's sticking to shrubs and cars, but not the streets yet.
