I have worked in and around home building all my life. I do not build homes myself so I am not biased. Tract builders are corporate builders. They build as many houses as possible and cut every corner possible for the bottom line. Ever notice how over decorated any model home is in a tract built neighborhood? That is to get you to focus on the shiny stuff instead of the house itself. Some tract builders are better than others and many custom builders are crap but based on law of averages, tract built homes are not built anywhere near a decent custom home. Toll Brothers is a high priced tract builder and Hasentree will not be the same now, in my opinion.

Not a good day for Hasentree, IMO. I'm not a big Toll Brothers fan, based on what I have seen in their other Triangle neighborhoods such as Brier Creek. I suppose it is better than having empty lots sitting around, although I'm not so sure about that, either.
