Hi! My family is moving to Cary soon and I would like to find a good art class for my 7 yr. old. Not a workshop or an after school program like "KidzArt" but rather a year round structured class. She's in a great program here in Florida right now and she loves it. Art is the one area where she really shines. I think it would really help her to acclimate if she could continue in a similar program.

Any ideas would be so appreciated. The class doesn't have to be in Cary. I'll drive her to wherever the best program is.

You might want to try Arts Together. Arts Together Visual Arts (http://www.artstogether.org/visualarts.htm - broken link)

We also loved the classes in the Jordan Art Center in Cary, but they aren't year round. Programs and Classes

I second Arts Together. They have programs all year round and for all ages.

Thank you! Arts Together looks very promising. And the cost is great too at $53 per month/ $424 per year. I'm impressed with what they offer. If anyone else has any ideas, keep them coming. I'm surpprised not more is offered in Chapel Hill/ Carrboro considering the number of artists who make it their home.
