I cast a vote for Verizon. I've had a strong, reliable signal virtually everywhere I've been ranging from downtown Raleigh to the northern edges of Wake County.

I also use Verizon Broadband wireless and had zero issue.

I have had verizon wireless for the past two years since I moved here and find it works well in the Triangle area. It also works very well in my old stomping grounds back in NJ which is important to me since I don't want a service that is only good in one region of the east coast. I have never had the service, but friends tell me Alltel works well in the Triangle area too.

I also like the fact that I get a 19% discount for verizon wireless through my employer.

I had Sprint and its was no good. Drops in the same places all the time. I did get a postcard in the mail from them saying they were adding towers in our area and it should improve, but too late, I have already switched to Alltel and my calls do not drop at all!!
