I'm seeing the all-too-familiar blue flashes of light thru my blinds, looks like some power lines are starting to fall...yay.

You've gotta be kidding?! From what? In East Ral near Rogers Ln we have about 2" now and snow has been falling since around 7pm. It's covering the roads now. It's pretty.

Our modus operandi here is ice on tree limbs. the ppl part comes when folks think they can drive on it soon find out they can't. So far it's just a pretty event. We'll see what tonight brings....

Per the progress energy outage map...only 1 customer in Apex has no power.
