Default Baking/Candy Supply Store

I do a lot of baking and some candy making. I have not been able to find a local baker's supply store. I know there has to be one. A place with cake boxes, wilton, candy molds, merkens chocolate melts, cake decorating supplies.
Anyone? I refuse to believe no one in the Triangle bakes.

OOh, I hope there is one. I know that Michael's Craft Store sells some of that stuff but I would like a baking supply store like we have here in MA.

I know Michael's Craft Stores sells the Wilton line. You may want to check them out. Michaels, The Arts & Crafts Store

The wilton line they sell at Michaels and Linens and things is not the professional line. They have some bits and bobs and sundry. I need a place where I can buy Adeco and food paste and cake boxes of various sizes. Almond paste by the 5 lb brick. We are talking heavy duty baking here.
Even Williams Sonoma is not specialized enough for what I use.
Well I put my feeler out if anyoen hears anything chime in.

You might try one of the restaurant supply stores in the area. Even if they don't carry what you want, I bet they'll know where to find it. I know there's one in Durham, but I can't remember the name of it. The one in Raleigh is called United Restaurant Equipment Company ( United Restaurant Equipment Company ).

You also may want to call some of the local bakeries and see what scoop they have! The blue moon bakery is in cary, and the mad hatter is in durham. I know there are TONS more, but I simply can't remember the names off of the top of my head.

Leigh
