I've tried a few and the answer is no. Wonder if any will be at the airport, trying to work in this weather? Hubby is flying in tonight and I don't feel comfortable driving in this (no 4-wheel drive, too many hills). I haven't been here in a snow before, so I don't know how the roads might be. In the flat mid-west where we just moved from, I'd have no problem driving to the airport with roads like this. Here, I dunno.

Anybody been out and about? Front-wheel drive do okay for you?

Thanks.

I don't even know you, but I would feel safer with you driving me around tonight than a random taxi driver. I think if you take it easy you'll be OK. There won't be many cars on the road and I'll bet the roads to/from the airport are in decent shape.

Thanks.

I made it there and back, even dropping of a co-worker of his whose wife didn't want to risk it with kids in tow. Hardly any cars at all on the roads, which helped since no lanes were clear, even on the interstate. Slow and steady wins the race. But gee, I was shocked that at that point in time (9 pm) the interstate wasn't more cleared. This is my first winter here, though, so I didn't know what to expect. I guess we will be getting another 4-wheel drive after all......
