Oh, I know the 'whole county' bit. I was just curious where he has three inches of ice.

I haven't left my neighborhood, but our roads here have 3" of ice easy. It was 3" snow, then 2" or more of sleet fell on it, then it was driven on and compacted to about 3 plus inches of ice. Now its pretty much a solid block of ice, all the neighborhood roads.

Fuquay, Oh by the way you should have seen state highway 401 at 7am this morning down here. DOT?? They are a bunch of jokers if this is how a road should be treated when you have 5 inches of sleet. Oh and the town of Fuquay?? Oh my, I should have done my homework better.

It's a shame the kids today will never be able to tell their kids how they walked a mile to school in the snow .... thinking about it I may have told my kids how I did it when in reality I never did, and I'm 60+ years old and we had neighborhood schools.

My kids are tracked out right now so I would LOVE the schools to be closed much of the week so that their neighborhood friends are around for entertainment. And then they, not us, will have to do saturday school to make it up later
