Or, glass half full...

One MORE day to enjoy the snow
It's a rare occurance here so may as well enjoy it to it's fullest.

**plus, at least they were thoughtful enough to give working parents a chance at getting alternate care with the early notification.

Does no school on Monday necessarily mean "one day less of spring break"? We are Chapel Hill. Exactly when is spring break?

Same with us. Spring break is from March 29-April 2. We've already made plans to be gone that week, so my daughter will be missing the make-up days. I am pretty sure no school on Monday means one less day of spring break, as the district has already used up its allotment of bad weather days.

For CHCCS, the makeup day for tomorrow is 2/22.

I just looked at Wake County's website and schools ARE closed Monday.

I'm impressed that they announced it so far in advance!

I'm guessing that the makeup for year round schools will be next Saturday?
