The interpretation can be found on weather.com or wral.
light freezing rain possible tonight, snow possible this weekend. As usual, it's a wait and see event.

As long as RDU is totally 100% functional next Monday and Tuesday, I'll be happy.

As silly as the reaction seems to me, it has been a fun weekend. Would have been much more challenging had our new dog refused to go in the snow!

The irony was in the advisory the weather service issued for the light freezing rain we might have in the AM. They essentially noted the less than optimal existing road conditions and concluded that a little freezing rain would have no additional impact.

Be safe,

Frank

If this predicted snow is anything like this past weekend, my kids have figured out that you don't need a sled!

They waited for a few kids to pack the snow down with their sleds...then then lay down on their backs and put their legs up and skimmed pretty quickly down the hills (they kind of looked like turtles flipped over).

Clever little things.

Yeah right and whom do you think is gonna be stupid enough to pay that kind of money for something that might get used twice in 10 years?

As long as we don't lose power and I can watch the Super Bowl on Sunday I couldn't care less if it snows.

I predict we will just get rain anyway. No point in getting all wound up on Monday night over a forecast 5 days into the future that will change in as many days.
