Nice looking 3 level homes, in a convenient location.
Prices are running high from the high $200's to the mid $300's.
2400-3100 square feet, with fairly nice appointments.
Nice community pool.
About 10 built and sold of about 120 homes.

I wouldn't recommend buying one that backs to the Cary Parkway due to traffic noise.

thanks mike. i see you are a real estate agent so i hope you dont mind me asking a few more questions. Have you sold there? what have your clients that looked at weston liked/disliked? hoa fees? is there a clubhouse/exercise room? i had seen it when it was just being built so i did not get many details on the master plan of the community. i have seen people post about mccar homes and there are such mixed reviews. have you had any bad experiences w/ mccar? thanks

I have not sold there yet.
And I have no experience with McCar, but have seen the comments.
I live nearby, though, and will do some serious homework, and be better versed very soon.

I have not had any experience with any clients building a McCar home and being there every step of the way but I did have a McCar resale listing in Miramonte in Apex. They said they were happy with the construction but they were moving because the job that they had here didn't work out. I did not see any shabby construction like I have with some other builders. I live next door to the Carramore subdivision and a family moved to our neighborhood after building a McCar home there and said the construction was horrible. They said they got out fast and didn't mind making two mortgage payments until the McCar sold. I check the Charlotte posts a bit and I know there is a thread about McCar there with some not so nice comments.

Be extremely careful when dealing with McCar. We own a home in Carramore. Extremely poor quality. Very hard to get things fixed.

Default Living in Weston Place

Dec. 27 will mark one year for us on closing on a 3 bedroom 3500 sq ft home in Weston Place. The homes have been selling at a steady pace and our home hass appreciated over the past year.

I love the home, size, quality, etc. Everyone in the neighborhood is also really nice so far too.

There were some mgmt changes within McCar here in the area, but things have been better since the recent changes.

Take a look at the model here if you are ever in town. Once I saw it, I was sold!!
