Hey everyone,
I'm looking to get some sort of internship/volunteer at a company for the spring/summer. I'm interested in either business management or something in the biomedical field. I know there are a ton of those tech companies around here, but I was wondering if anyone has had personal experience/know someone who has and could recommend a good place? I live in Cary so something close by would be nice. I'm doing some of my own research but figured I would ask here too since you guys know so much. Thanks a lot.

I've seen a few internship postings but you need to be more specific about your degree and skills.

Ok yeah I meant to in my original post. Well I'm a junior in high school and am trying to figure out what I want to do in the future. I'm not looking for a job or anything like that, just something kinda like a shadow job. I thought I wanted to go into biomedical engineering but then I read about the amount of physics involved and that turned me off a bit. So I guess I just wanted to see what something like that is really all about to determine if it is something to pursue or not.

Welcome to Summer Programs for High School
this program may be of interest to you.

Some companies might be ok with you shadowing some for a day not sure how open they would be for anything long term. Doesn't hurt to ask though. Even though you are still in HS check out some the industry discussion groups on linked in to make contacts.
