I'm interested in acquiring some for my preventative cancer quackery. Just wanted to know if there was a place anyone knows where they'd be sold in bulk?

I googled it and found some on Amazon. It made me curious to learn more. When I was young my family had a peach tree. We used to eat the seeds too...I wonder whether peachers might have the same properties?

Default Be careful as these contain toxins!

Apricot pits, peach pits, apple seeds, and cherry pits all contain trace amounts of cyanide. Reading the attached link should alleviate the fears of anyone who accidentally swallows a cherry pit or a few apple seeds, but be cautious if you are intentionally ingesting these.

Yes, Apple Seeds and Cherry Pits are Poisonous

According to researchers however the cyanide is activated only when coming into contact with cancer cells.

"It is one of the main courses of food in cultures such as the Navajo Indians, the Hunzas the Abkhasians and many more. Did you know that within these tribes there has never been a reported case of cancer?"

Not saying I believe it but you have to wonder.

Also, to the OP:

"The rule of thumb when eating seeds is to eat the fruit along with the seeds. For example, you do not want to extract the seeds from 50 apples and eat only those seeds, however eating a few apples every day along with their seeds is perfectly safe."

There has been one reporting of cyanide poisoning, but it must have been from an ENORMOUS quantity of the stuff on a daily basis.

For certain values of 'researchers' that do not include 'scientists'
Apricot kernel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I suppose you could make a stretch and say that is why only 2 out of 178 died in the study.
OTOH, Vitamin D in certain forms may have an effect on breast cancer.

Acute cyanide toxicity caused by apricot kernel in... [Ann Emerg Med. 1998] - PubMed result
and best of all
The clinical experience of acute cyanide poisoning. [Am J Emerg Med. 1995] - PubMed result
which is an investigation of 21 cases over 10 years.

ITYM, "elaborate self-poisoning effort"
I know, for every person who believes in an alternative medical theory, there is someone there to beat on him.
My wife is a breast cancer survivor and we attribute that success to:
Conventional surgery,
Conventional chemotherapy,
Conventional radiation treatment,
Prayer,
Strong doses of aloe vera as a juice and topically for the burns,
Isotonix vitamins, minerals, and OPC-3 antioxidants.

The concern is that someone would adopt an alternative treatment plan instead of a combination plan. We advocate consultation with a doctor also, hopefully one familiar with supplements.

they're usually found inside of apricots, unless they've been pitted/dried
