I am looking for recommendations for half day preschools in the west cary/morrisville/rtp area. Most of the preschools I have visited in this vicinity (kidsrkids, primrose, goddard, carolina kids academy etc) are more like daycare centers in my opinion . Some of them do not even have half day options for 2.5 year olds and are frankly too expensive .
I am hoping to find something 2 or 3 days a week and am looking to spend no more than $300 per month .I am open to church based schools as long as they are secular.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I have heard about first baptist in cary etc and while it is good it is a little farther out for me.
I am also interested in any feedback on language tots in cary.
You might try Spanish For Fun behind Sam's (off Harrison) in Cary.
It is a pre school/day care. Up to two year olds can go one 1/2 day (or more) a week. Three+ have to go at least three 1/2 days a week. I can't remember the cost, but it is around what you are looking for (for one or two day). Three+ days a week is more expensive.
Note: Spanish For Fun is a Spanish emergent school. About 70% of the kids are native English speakers (30% are native Spanish). The teachers only speech Spanish to the kids.
Thank you all for the recommendations. I have looked at first baptist and I do like it but the ymca will be closer to my location.I have scheduled a visit there, tomorrow and am hoping it works out .
