Someone should start a "pic a day" series that shows what the weather is like. Today, there were unusually gorgeous clouds. Then you'd have an entire year's documentation of what it looks like in the Triangle, as far as weather/season changes, for people who wonder.

Good stuff...did the same myself on Friday! Broccoli and brussel sprouts also do well this time of year around here.

NRG,
a little bit of Third Place Coffee House trivia for you...did you know that the owner David Benson is also the sculptor responsible for the acorn in Moore Park??? I'm betting you probably aleady knew this but just thought I would see if I could stump yah.
Third Place happens to be my favorite place for a cup of Joe. We've since moved out to WF so I'm sad I just can't get in my car and drive 10 minutes like I use to but I do make it that away whenever I can.

Thumbs up Day #11

Day #11 ~ March 17, 2010 - The Bagels at NY Bagel and Deli on Falls of Neuse Road in North Raleigh

This place has the best bagels around hands-down. My camera was acting up again so the picture is a little blurry. You can check out a few more pictures of the Bagel shop in my flickr photo album (http://www.flickr.com/photos/triangleexplorer/sets/72157623513987329/ - broken link).

NYBD FTW!!! I miss my Saturday AM runs there for a bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich. Now when we're in Raleigh we go out of our way to pick up a dozen for the freezer.

While I am one who unashamedly promotes Durham, I will be the first to say that good bagels are severely lacking in the Bull City. I even told the owner of NYBD that in hopes that she might look at expanding there.
