This weekend should be the first real big weekend for garden centers and the Farmer's Market for plant sells. I understand several vendors at the Farmer's Market will open shop this weekend and prices plus quality are better than ever. Where do you like to go for plant purchases?

Yay! I love this time of year! In addition to the Farmers' Market, I shop for plants at Fairview Gardens on Holly Springs Road, Campbell Road Nursery not too far from there, occasionally Logans downtown, and every time I visit Sanford, Big Bloomers.

Where's the best place--good selection, different types--to buy fruit trees?

Thanks!

What did you have in mind? To be honest, while places around here do sell them, the climate in the Triangle really isn't right for most fruit trees. Things like apples need cooler temps found out towards the western part of the state by the mountains.
