Hi there, hoping for some advice and information on lawn maintenance. Currently live in Cary/Apex, near Ten Ten and need a lawn person. What is the going rate for someone to do lawn work and some general gardening on a quarter acre? Also, how often does the lawn need maintenance? Thanks in advance!

They do not do any gardening for me, but I just posted about Walfer Lawn Care in another thread:

What kind of lawn maintenance? Are you looking for just mowing, fertilizing or both?

What kind of grass?

You'll probably need to mow once every week to ten days during the grass growing season. In addition, you'll probably need to do some kind of fertilizing; many services offer 6 treatments or so per year and seed in the fall.

I will need mowing and some fertilizing. Not sure if we are planting anything yet, but it's a possibility in the future. We have fescue grass, so I know it needs to be reseeded at some point. Thanks!
