Mason’s Chophouse replaces Uno Chicago Grill at Brier Creek - Triangle Business Journal:

Mason's Chophouse

Owned by the same company as UNO's, they kept the staff, service sucked before, maybe the retraining will have helped.

Doesn't make any sense to me because there are Longhorn Steakhouse and Carrino's which seem to do the same thing, with better service.

It honestly sounds more like an Ale House then those to me. I wish Carino's would close and something better would open there, I have never had any great food there.

I hear ya. I ordered a steak there once. I swear I could see the marks where the jockey was hitting it.

With all the shoppers that come to Brier Creek it's amazing they keep striking out with restaurants. Jason's Deli was the only place that was consistently crowded. On the other side of the street Red Robin and Ale House were also.
