Il Forno in Holly Springs gets two thumbs up from me. Went there for lunch today and it is excellent.

I have been curious about it since it opened. Is there a site?

I sure hope it's good - southern Wake needs some good restaurants!

(and could somebody please open up a non-Italian restaurant!)

We went there a couple of Fridays ago, the service was good but the food was only so-so. We will go back again though!

Why would you go back if the food was only "so-so"?

I have been to restaurants that have served me great meals time and time again and then I have had a not so great one there. I always believe in giving it a second chance unless the place was so bad. Tribeca Tavern in Cary was like that, awful service and just a very bad experience. That being said, the food was not bad, it was so-so and it may have just been the entree that I ordered.

Stonewood on the other hand, never had a bad meal there!
