I just heard you can stop by Logan's Nursery on Saturday March 13th and pick up a free packet of seeds and a free bag of compost to support the "Plant a Row" drive to help feed the hungry. This will be a great way to kick off your spring gardening.

"Join us March 13th ALL DAY! for our Plant A Row for the Hungry Kick Off day! Mayor Charles Meeker will be at Logan's to support this campaign that is close to our hearts. WPTF Weekend Gardener will also be broadcasting live at this special event!"

They will also have some free gardening classes
10AM- "Veggie Gardening Pt. 1: The Basics"
2PM- "Veggie Gardening Pt. 2: Beyond the Basics"

For more info: Plant a row
