But to answer the specific question, I'd have to pick Durham out of the choices provided if we're looking at a 5 year time frame. Otherwise I would choose either Apex and Wake Forest.
Well said. Although I live in Wake Forest,I have recently been to Cary twice,and in my book and in all the statistics you cannot even compare Durham to Cary.A couple of new buildings are not going to erase a half century of decay and crime.The crime rate is still well above national averages,and NC averages,Durham 10 years out,maybe,now though, the majority of people shutter in fright when you mention Durham,there is a stigma that will take many,many years to overcome.Just the facts,no spin.

By what measure?
Show me...and don't show me total crimes. Show me crime rates. Raleigh has ~175,000 more people than Durham. Let's compare something that is apples to apples.
