My husband and I just looked at Walden Creek down in Apex this afternoon. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about this neighborhood? We are looking for a neighborhood that is active and social with lots of (young) children and nice neighbors. If you could share your opinions of Walden Creek that's what we are looking for!

Thanks!!

Walden Creek is a great family neighborhood. Good location, very close to shopping in Beaver Creek. Five minutes from downtown Apex (which I love!).

I have friends that bought in Walden Creek, ended up selling their home when they thought they were relocating. They ended up staying afterall so rented in Walden Creek. They love it - Lots of neighborhood activities, swim school, etc.

Apex has really been kicking BOOTAY lately in acquiring good restaurants & shopping. I was impressed when I dropped down there last. I think it would be a great place to raise a family.

We LOVED this neighborhood and were planning on buying there before deciding to move to our hometown in Upstate NY instead. The most convenient neighborhood in Apex (only one that connects to both 55 & 64) and walkable to Beaver Creek. The homes in the streets of and off of Walden Creek and Brister Springs were beautiful and well built and definitely a family-vibe. Most of our kids friends lived in that neighborhood.

Apparently the new extension of 540 will come close to the neighborhood and I know it was reassigned to Panther Creek High School instead of Apex high a few years ago when we still lived there; but definitely a nice place.
