PS...we rented a house in Holly Springs for $1100 when we first moved here...3 bedroom, relatively new. It was way down a hill, but it got us by until we could purchase. Also, I know you don't have alot of time, but I know the house down the street was on the market for a long time and then was rented...its a prime neighborhood and they paid $1400...which I thought was a very good deal. Maybe contact a Realtor and see if someone that can't sell might rent?

Rentals in Cary area tend to be high. I would look in Apex area. It's more affordable, very nice and growing rapidly.

I grew up in the Maryland area, so as a fellow Marylander, Welcome.

I wish you and your family the best.
