i CAN tell you they have begun the RL Stowe building project next to the library. it will be apartments for lower income as far as i have heard. i dont believe it's section 8 but i may be wrong.

the old run down white building on 119 right by new the fire station. i live about a block away from it

I'm in Mebane but I don't know anything. I would love a co-op similar to Weaver Street to be here. I know Burlington is working on their own. I'm excited for the loft apartments, whenever that's happening. Downtown is so cute but its missing some things.

just an FYI
there is a LOT of new info on the Tanger outlets and other stuff going on in town in this weeks Mebane Enterprise....
