Heard about the new H&M store at Crabtree. Anyone make it out for the opening day? Thoughts?

Do they carry plus size clothing? Curious about this place but I want to wait until the hype is over before I venture out to Raleigh to see for myself.

someone was tweeting about it for N&O. sounded like a madhouse. i don't think i'll be stopping by until at least next weekend, if not later. almost every h&m i've ever been to in the US had lines for the dressing rooms and lines for the checkout. i can't imagine how bad it was yesterday....

FYI for plus size...not so much. Everything at H&M is tight & slim. For example I am typically a 31-32 mens pant size, at H&M Im a 34 easy.

The H&M at the mall near my house when I lived in VA had an excellent selection of plus sized clothing. They had cute maternity clothes--I was a HUGE pregnant woman both times--my second pregnancy was twins and even I could find maternity there that fit. I remember they had very cute kids' clothing as well. I got the most adorable fair isle cardigan for my now 5 yo when he was 18m. I spent $10 maybe on it and it looked like it came from a high end catalogue. It was precious. I'm glad they have one here but I'd wait a while. It is wildly popular with the young and hip as well and there is an abundance of college kids here.....good luck!

I agree with you on this. I love H&M, but will be waiting until the newness dies down before going. Can imagine the long lines...

for some people non-durbale clothes are a blessing, because otherwise they'd keep their clothes until they were out of style. which is why you see people in plaid buttom-up shirts, cargo pants, and fleece vests...they bought them in 1995 from LL Bean and they're still wearing them
