Talking Wake Forest, Art Classes, Yoga Classes, Mah Jong anyone?

Just came back from my first look-see for a location to move to from LI, NY. I am very impressed with Wake Forest for its suburban flavor and its proximity to all of the necessary shopping, lakes, movies. I am told schools are great tho i am Granny and just need to be near those boys of mine, who are also coming down to live with my son and daughterinlaw. I loved Crenshaw Manor. Prefer established landscaping. Dont want to wait for it all to mature on a new house. Pushing age 60. Want to enjoy the views NOW.

I am an artist looking to take art classes, yoga classes, play mah jong and the like. Anybody in Raleigh with similar interests or ideas for networking?

I should be moving down by the fall.
Thanks.

There is a yoga studio downtown Wake Forest. Art classes are available not only at the parks and rec but several other local businesses.

Just an FYI - Flowerpaw is a dear friend of mine. If you are interested in contacting her for Mah Jong, send me a DM and I can email her for you. She has now lived here for almost 2 years and has found both art classes and a yoga studio.
