We made it!!!
Hi everyone, Liz here.
I am sitting in my daughters room in our new house. I am so excited to be here. We got here around 9:30 PM on Saturday night, we were so glad to get out of the car after our drive from CA to Raleigh. We stayed on the 40 East the entire way, and slept at Motel 6 (they are pet friendly), not the best place to stay though
I will answer any questions you guys have about the relocation, for those of you who are ready to move, after I get my computer set up. I am on my daughters laptop, our truck arrives tomorrow.
Oh, btw, I got my first tick last night!!! It was on my back, and my husband noticed it this morning, as I stepped into the shower. I had to stay really calm, because I was ready to run around the house screaming at a high pitch volume, so I breathed and I thought of nice thoughts and tried to get through the ordeal. I guess baptisim by fire is the best though, now I don't have to wonder what it would be like to have a tick......
Gotta go explore, see ya!!

Congrats Liz! I wish I was in your shoes. But at least our visit this weekend and possibly finding our S/D in Clayton, now were motivated to sell and get down there! My husband had an informal job interview on Monday morning in Raleigh, before we met with our realtor, and if that pans out, then our house will go up for sale! Btw, where did you pick up the tick from? Jeannie

Liz one tick does not an incident make. Get someone to take care of the grounds with a pet and kid friendly tick and flea protector. I am so happy for you. Say a prayer my showings today are productive. Have fun unpacking.

Oh Liz, I am so happy for you, it's so often that a move is usually a good one. Even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it at first, I've never made a move that wasn't right. Best of luck. We are having beautiful weather and you should get a thunderstorm soon, love those!!!! Yippeeee for Liz!!!
