I am looking for gravel mulch for gardening instead of the regular wood chips, preferable crushed brick etc. I am looking for somewhere preferably in the Durham (Southpoint) area that sells it by the tonn instead of by those little tiny bags that Lowes and Home Depot sells them in. Does, anyone know of somewhere that sells by the scoop or tonn? Thanks

Did you try that stone place off Glenwood near Brier Creek? I think it's called Branson stone or something like that. I bet they have it. I'd like to hear about it as well when you find out...cost, etc. cause I'm thinking of doing the same thing instead of buying wood mulch every year. And then it gets all over with 2 doggies.

Mulch masters in apex at one time sold crushed brick in bulk. I don't see it listed on their website currently though. Might be worth a call to find out. By the way, that stuff is big bucks.

There is a stone center down on 55 in SW Durham that might know someone closer to you. But you can stay and keep your dollars in Durham buy going to the stone/mulch center on 1382 E. Geer Street right off of HWY 70 just before it connects with I-85. You can see it from the highway. They have crushed brick and any other type of mulch stone/chips you will need.

Page Road Garden Center in Brier Creek 806-5635. I know they sell brick chips along with several other varieties of small rock.

For Garden Sake is probably the closest garden / landscaping shop to you. If you go South on 751, it's right across the Chatham Co Border. I'm not sure if they sell rock mulch... I do know they sell wood mulch.

Page Rd (as someone else suggested) has really kind folks there. There is also Kiefer Landscaping off of South Alston.

Good luck w/ your projects.
