We moved into our home in December and it was built in 2008-2009 and we are using the AC because well, it's hot outside...it's not cooling the house down very well and I just have a feeling something isn't working right. I have read some reviews for a few places online so far and they weren't very good. Hope someone knows someone honest. Thank you!!
Briggs Heating and Air. Their service is superb and they have been in the area/family business for 30 years. They are out of Fuquay. Don't have their number off hand.
Thought I would write this review as a big thanks to the raleigh area citydata members. This is the one forum i refer to to get local info and reviews. So, time to pay it forward....
When we had a bout of Summer in Spring a month ago, our top floor AC unit was only blowing outside air. This all happened on a Friday evening!!! So, off I was onto citydata searching for an HVAC tech. I stumbled upon sacredgrooves' recommendation and called Justin Woodlief. I think he lives in the Morrisville area.
He hit the nail on the spot after he asked me a few questions. Told me that there was silverfish or bugs in the connectors (where the wire goes into the unit). I was floored when he was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away without the need for messing around with parts and such. He only charged me $100 for a Friday 8pm job. I thought that was wonderful considering that it was after hours and temperatures upstairs reached 90F. Needless to say, there have been no problems since. Gotta go knock on wood now!!!
I am glad to hear it! Justin is so easy to work with, and as knowledgeable as they come.
