They had offered buyouts to 1500 employees last spring. I'm not sure how many employees ended up taking the offer and leaving, but I think the 360 they're hiring is still less than the number of people who left last year. But it is some good news at least!

AW North Carolina will invest $112 million and add 56 jobs by 2015 at its Durham County manufacturing operation.
The company, which makes automobile transmissions for Toyota vehicles, also is buying a former Flextronics plant in Granville County and will create 85 jobs and invest $25 million there.

Interesting how these "rosy stories" that they continually come out with are always counterbalanced by something that ends up being a net negative for jobs..
