Does anyone else have issues with TW's HD service when trying to watch major sporting events (mainly NBA and NHL playoffs) recently. My tv will either be completely dark with no sound (usually TNT HD) or a picture with some sort of electrical surge or static. When I switch it over to the regular signal, the broadcast comes in fine. It's pretty annoying to have purchased this tv and not be able to use it for its purpose.

Did you receive a HD receiver from the cable company. If it's like what I'm used to then you need the extra receiver from your Cable or Sat provider.
Then and only then will you get HD reception.

Watching the NHL, my picture "fluttered" as though the signal delivery speed was slow throughout the entire telecast. Both audio and video made it unbearable to watch. Never had HD issues like this when I lived in the Memphis area on TW.

By the way, my internet service sux here as well.

Yeah NBC HD was total crap yesterday. I tried to put on the golf tournament and it would go in and out. None of this surprises me. TWC is garbage. I am so fed up with my DVRs that I am close to spending 300 bucks to get a new TIVO. In the long run, it would save me money since I could take off about 30 bucks worth of services from my TWC bill.

Oh and don't even get me started on the whole MASN fiasco...
