Hello,
We are currently living in a "mass-produced" neighborhood with very small lots and an HOA. We are looking for a new home in Apex, Cary or the surrounding area where we can have a larger lot (preferably .3 acres or more), a house around 3,000 sq ft and either no HOA or one that is not very intrusive.

We like the areas around the "Hallmark" and "Kildaire Estates" neighborhoods, but these are outside of city limits. We are wondering what issues there might be with purchasing a house outside Apex city limits. For example, can we get our trash and recycling picked up, can we still get Time Warner cable and internet, etc....? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

We back up to Kildaire Estates and friends who live there get trash and recycling picked up (I hear the trucks every week) and have cable and internet. It is a nice neighborhood. So is Hallmark.
