EmmaRose, the whole Flower's Plantation area is a planned community. As far as an area that is specifically more older people, I do not know. I think it's kind of a lot of everything, and everyone is real friendly, so...

After we made an offer but before the 3 day attorney review was up.
I know the 3 day attorney review is common practice in NJ RE transactions, but I had never heard of it before concerning NC real estate sales. Is the 3 day attorney review common practice here?

Hmm...well, don't quote me on it. I am not sure what it is called but we made an offer in writing and the seller accepted. We were still able to walk and I'm pretty sure its due to the 3 day attorney review but maybe the realtor members here can shed some light on NC's actual RE laws.

Oh I'm, holding you to that! Just kidding! I have family in NJ so I am familiar with the 3 day attorney review, but I did not think it was common here but perhaps it is something that can be written into an offer on a case by case basis. Either way, I'm glad it worked out for you since you were able to walk away due to the lot issue.
