My boyfriend and I are looking for a good church in the area for young adults. We're in our mid-20's and we both grew up going to Baptist churches, but are open to any type of church.
Our main focus is on finding a church open to interracial marriage and one with a variety of races. I'm white and my boyfriend is black and we both want to feel accepted wherever we go.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading

Try Vintage 21 church in downtown. Vintage21 Church
Very progressive and great vibe. 117 S. West Street. We are a young married couple who visited and have friends there and really like it.

Thanks everybody for all the responses. We live in East Raleigh, not too far from Knightdale but are willing to drive a little ways.

Young couples, and families, seem to enjoy the services at Crosspoint. The nondenominational church is located on Morrisville-Carpenter Fire Station Road. It that's not the name of the road, it is the one where you'll find the development, Cameron Pond. Just off HWY 55 at the light with the small Mom-and-Pop's Texaco gas station, and a closed-down market called Edwards' Grocery, I think.
A lot of the young people here where I live in Highcroft, with children and without, enjoy the Sunday services and weekday activities. A lot of the service centers around music, I am told. It is not for anyone looking for a traditional church feel.

It's been said before, but Hope Community Church in Raleigh (and Holly Springs) is a GREAT church to call home. I've been going for over a year and every time I go, I'm impressed as to how open and accepting the pastors are about everyone (I've seen college kids in gym clothes, homeless people, mixed couples, singles, you name it). Check it out - Welcome to Hope Community Church!
