Anybody been over to Foster's Market in Durham? My wife and I went there this past Saturday for the second time and it is my new favorite place to go to grab a bite to eat. It has a great market / cafe atmosphere and awesome food. The best thing of all is you can buy a bottel of wine at the regular retail price (They even have some cold white wines in the coolers) and they will open it up for you to enjoy on their front porch. I highly recommend you check it out if you are new to area. I beleive there is one in Chapel Hill as well.

I've been to both, and I prefer the one that is in the strip mall (Durham?) rather than the one that's in the old house. The one located in the old house would be just as nice, but it's on a major road and the traffic noise is annoying if you want to sit on the patio, which I always prefer to do.

I love Foster's! Their salads are always wonderful. The scones are great too. I went out of curiosity when I first moved to Durham since Sara Foster used to work as a chef for Martha Stewart's catering company. I haven't visited the Chapel Hill location because I like the bustle of the old house.

Mmm... yes. Chocolate Whoppers, be still my heart.

We love their candy selection ("we" being mostly children here).

Sunday brunch is nice, pretty laid back if crowded (or maybe it's just the place to be).
