Not off the top of my head. Parking is cheap at the airport. $8 a day or $40 a week.

You might check with some of the larger hotels/motels. They might have a van that goes and would charge a nominal fee to somebody that was not a guest.

Good thinking. Or something from Deadwood to RAP.

I do not believe that there are any options like that. My parents flew into RAP last June for our wedding, and the only option my father found was to rent a car (he works for an airline, btw, and knows all the ins and outs of shuttling, so they were very thorough in their research). Prarie Transit is the only bus line in the Spearfish area, and they are not full service by any stretch. You could check with them, but they were not running one in the peak tourist season, so it would suprise me if they would do it in the off season.

Yeah, the only problem with renting a car is that they limit the miles to 200 a day! Who does that!?

I just rented a car this last weekend and thats not true. I think some have a lower cost version that is only 100 or 200 miles a day but I'm pretty sure you can still get the unlimited miles. You'd get cheaper rates off the airport terminal but I think the Rapid Airport is about 10 miles from town or so plus however long to get to an Enterprise, etc. I know Enterprise has the 1/2 priced weekends off airports that is like 80-90 bucks for a full size car for friday - monday morning or so. You may want to check into that?

Yeah, I meant in-terminal (airport), all of the car rental agencies I checked limited the miles. The Enterprise in Spearfish doesn't, but again, how do I get there? I know Enterprise picks you up, but I doubt they'll pick me up from the airport lol!

Enterprise has a location at the airport in Rapid. Depending on lengh of stay parking is pretty cheap at the airport.
Yes, I have left my car at the airport.

They may have just quoted you the cheaper price with the less miles, I'm sure if you ask for unlimited miles they will quote you the price for that.
