I am not sure where you are getting your information but I was required to graduate with 22 credits as a senior at a Rapid City public school this last spring. They have since changed it to 24 credits to graduate.. Also, you have to be a junior or senior to be allowed off campus. Freshmen and Sophs are restricted to the cafeteria.

I'm sorry, you were right. Since 2006, you are required to have 22 credits to graduate high school in the State of South Dakota. Saint Thomas More requires 25 credits plus mandatory service hours and an internship. If you are Catholic, Confirmation classes must be attended every Wednesday evening too. If you are not Catholic, you do not have to take Confirmation classes.

Danny,

I'm curious about your former school. If you are a student at St. Thomas More, and you're "not" Catholic, you "don't" have to take confirmation classes? What are confirmation classes?

Thanks

Many religions require you take confirmation classes on Wednesdays to learn more about God. In 8th or 9th grade in Lutheran, you are "confirmed" meaning you passed the course.

OK, I get it. That seems fair. I was just wondering if it's compulsory for non-Catholics in that school as well.

Thanks Ashnat

Check your facts, you need 24 credits to graduate from Central or Stevens....Remember you can't always judge a book (school) by it's cover.
