Hi guys!

My wife and I are considering Rapid City as a possible retirement location in a couple of years. I own a Mini Cooper and was wondering if there are any auto service centers in Rapid City that might work on Minis, English cars in general or European cars. The closest Mini dealer to RC is in Denver.

Thanks!

Mini's are pretty rare around here. There was a guy driving one around Pierre for a while.

I am thinking one of the McKee dealers might touch it. Otherwise and independent ASC certified mechanic should be able to work on your mini as long as its not warranty work.

There is a place on Main and 4th (across from the courthouse) that specializes in foreign cars such as Alfa Romeos, Jaguars, etc. I'm sure they'd be willing to help. A goodf friend of mine has a Mini and I absolutely LOVE it! It's surprisingly roomy too.

There's another place on W Main right before the Sturgis Road and W Main intersection, across the street from FTC express. It's called Al's D&I. Iv'e seen a couple of old minis parked out front and there are always new foreign cars too. I'm sure they would work on it. My dad used to insure them too and they are good guys.

The place across from the courthouse was mainly Alfa Romero's and Triumphs. I think Andyroo's advise would be about the best.

Okay, I figure that we'd have to pay for any repairs, still cheaper than having the car towed to Denver for warranty work

We've also got a BMW Z4 and looks kind of like the same thing...closest dealer for BMW is in Sioux Falls

If they weren't so darned much fun to drive, I'd trade them in and just keep the trucks!!

The Z4 would be way too much fun.

Where can I have my mini cooper serviced in Sioux Falls? We just bought one a couple months ago and hear the only place we can take it to is Minneapolis.
