I'm relocating to RC on 6/1 from Albany, NY. I'm going to attend the School of Mines in the fall, but I'm going to look for a summer job and spend the summer in RC.
How reputable/trustworthy are these property managment companies? I'm highly suspicious of anyplace that wants me to pay my security deposit up front while they run a background check.
Is there any other hotels/motels that rent rooms on a weekly basis? (besides Avanti Motel, called them they state as of 6/1, they don't do weekly again to 9/1)
There must be other rental property no listed in the newspaper, does anybody have any sugestions?
I'm sure you'll get your deposit back if you don't pass.....most apartment companies require your deposits of front, I guess I haven't heard of anything different in my experience?
Thanks for posting this question. I have never heard of this. It takes no time at all to pull a credit report/score. I wonder what the delay is. I would be highly suspicious as well. I guess it is normal since 2 members have heard of this. Anyone know if this is true for military members?
