Austin-Willy, I'm not going to debate it with you - much as I love debate, I don't love it THAT much. I have full confidence in the readers of this forum to make up their own mind if they are at all interested by simply reading your posts (both between you and me and otherwise).

By the way, defining as unbiased only those people who agree with your point of view? Does that not indicate bias on your part?

That would be nice. I personally think most laws, not just real estate, are because 5-10% of people are just unable to behave with decency.

Of course you don't want to debate it. You just like to throw mud and run. You should really stop the insults. They are unbecoming. Or can't you get your point across without attacking someone personally?

Btw "e.g." means for example. It doesn't mean "as the only example.". You should really stop making inferences as doing so is clearly not your strength.

I was thinking just now that this had gotten way off track from the OP.

Which I think I answered already, but I'd have to go back through all those pages just to make sure! So, in a nutshell, my answer to the original question is, No.

IMO there are crzay realtors who just don't want to show FSBO's and want to trash all the people selling FSBO, on the other hand there are stupid FSBO who don't get it that if you save money on a realtor you should lower your price and not make it higher. I myself have called to inquire about FSBO prices and got sellers on the phone telling me how many upgrades they had like curtains, blinds, etc, and that is why they had their price so much higher than similar (town homes) homes, one had the price $ 50 K higher than other listed homes..."but you really have to see mine, because than you will understand the price...it is so beautiful". Well it can't be so beautiful to have it so much over priced, than you just not able to sell your home ....but people like this won't sell their home with an agent either.
