Ours is "Minutes Away, Worlds Apart"
We're about 15 minutes away from the major tourist area of the county. The price difference between our area and the tourist corridor are pretty substantial.
I happen to like working with buyers and recently took a great photo of (bird) fledglings peering out of a nest in a tree. Was thinking of doing a mailing (postcard) with the photo and the words "Looking for a new nest?" underneath.
I've always wanted to go with "Selling Cribs without the Fibs".....but felt it might be offensive.
Anyone got any feedback on that?
That's funny! Why would anyone be offended by that? I think "cribs" is a pretty commonly accepted term (although using this term could be perceived as unprofessional by some). As for "fibs" well the only people who might be offended are other agents and you're not mailing to them anyway.
This might give people the impression you're going to drop them like a bag of bricks after the closing. I know my clients (especially relos and first timers) are often calling me with questions about homeownership after closing and I wouldn't want to give them the idea that this is not OK to do.
